TEACHING POSTS DUNAMASE COLLEGE

Dunamase College is a new post-primary school in Portlaoise. We opened in September 2017 and are currently taking in our third year group.  Laois and Offaly ETB is the school Patron with An Foras Pátrúnachta as Trustee Partner. Dunamase College is an English-medium, co-educational, multidenominational school which includes an Aonad Lán-Gaeilge, where all subjects are taught as Gaeilge.

We are committed to innovation in teaching and learning and are currently seeking staff with a strong commitment to the development of the school and providing excellence in education to our pupils.

This is a great opportunity for teachers with a high degree of flexibility and drive to bring the school to the next level.

A willingness to teach several subjects, (including new Junior Cycle courses), a commitment to the development of a strong co-curricular program and a record of ongoing professional development is vital in our school. Some of these positions will involve teaching in the Aonad (through Irish) and if required supports and training may be offered to upskill suitable teachers in the language.
