LOETB organise its youth work functions through a sub-committee of the LOETB Board, the Youth Work Committee (YWC). A Youth Work Committee was established in May 2017 in accordance with Section 44 of the Education & Training Board Act 2013 to carry out its legislative functions therein. The Youth Work Committee is made up of representatives from the Education and Training Board, Young Persons, Voluntary Youth Sector and Statutory Sector. There is currently a new YWC being established for 2020. A new Youth Work Plan will be developed by the incoming YWC for development of Youth Work in the two counties.
