The National Strategy on Children and Young People’s Participation in Decision-Making focuses on the everyday lives of children and young people and the places and spaces in which they are entitled to have a voice in decisions that affect their lives.

LGBTI+ National Youth Strategy 2018-2020

The LGBTI+ National Youth Strategy 2018-2020 was published on 29th June, 2018 and is a world first. It is a key commitment for the Department of Children and Youth Affairs as part of the 2016 Programme for Partnership Government. The strategy is making a significant contribution towards the government’s broader commitment to continue to strive to ensure all LGBTI+ young people are visible, valued and included in Irish society
