Course Description
The Skilled Utilities Operator Traineeship is a 13-month training programme which will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to deliver infrastructure for utilities companies. Upon successful completion of the Traineeship, you will achieve a CABWI Level 2 Diploma in Network Construction Operations – Water (Main Layer) as well as many essential industry-recognised training qualifications. The simulated site training at Mount Lucas, as well as a recognised qualification, will prepare you for a career in a progressive industry with many pathways for promotion and self-employment. In order to participate on this programme, you must be at least 18 years old, be reliable, have a strong work ethic and be willing to work as part of a team in an outdoor environment.

Cost
There is no fee for this course. Those who are unemployed and wish to apply, following engagement with their Intreo Case Officer, may be eligible for a training allowance or income support.
