Terms of Reference of LOETB FET Programme Review / Development Groups

 

Role:

The purpose of the LOETB FET Programme Development & Review Group is to develop new programmes and review existing FET provision.

Membership:

The membership of the FET Programme Development & Review Group is designed to enable relevant LOETB management and staff to collectively contribute to the development of new programmes and review existing programmes.

Chair: The Chair will be a member of LOETBs QA Department.

Secretary: The Secretary will be appointed by the FET SMT.

Ordinary Members:

2 external Subject Matter Experts

Relevant LOETB staff members involved in the delivery of the discipline in question

 

Accountable to:        

FET Senior Management Team

 

Responsibilities:

  • Devising proposals for development of new programmes
  • Developing draft programme documentation
  • Collating programme validation documentation for submission to Programme Advisory Forum
  • Identifying requirements (resources, etc) for the establishment of new/revised programmes
  • Compiling/collating feedback reports on existing programmes
  • Implementation of minor modifications/additions to programmes recommended as a result of programme reviews
  • Reporting on progress of action plans to Senior Management Team
